Who We Are

The Living Room
of Our Neighborhood

The Commons started in 2016 when a group of Oak Hill neighbors turned an abandoned community center into a thriving hub. Today, we're the place where people come for help, give help, make friends, and feel at home.

From after-school tutoring to our weekly food pantry, senior fitness classes to job skills workshops β€” if it strengthens our community, it happens here.

Our volunteers are the backbone of everything we do. Whether you have an hour a week or a full Saturday, there's a place for you at The Commons.

David

"I started volunteering to give back, but honestly, I've gained more than I've given. This place changed my life."
